Then, when you dig into the study, you find that their data shows the concentrations of all cited toxic metals were LESS than the content of each in the same volume of regular outside air.

My second favorite is the one where they showed "alarming" levels of formaldehyde present in the inhaled vapor. Then you do some research on the study only to find out they were using amounts of heat no e-cig was capable of producing in the first place (including those retarded "mod" ones people build for massive vape clouds). You could modify one to approach those levels, but it would taste so nasty no one would EVER want to do it again.

quit long time ago now! was an old post ha. actually vaping but my nicotine level already went down from 18mg to 12mg and now currently at 6mg. Next step is 3mg and then 0mg and then no more.

but it's a free world so people can smoke if they want and not feel bad about it even if someone walks by and coughs intentionally lol.

when i did smoke, i made sure to do it in an open space away from people, not in walking in front of people walking up the parking structure stairs or something like that. that was my point.

Such a definitive stance you have there. I agree I may have alluded that E-cigs have the same number of harmful chemicals as regular cigarettes. And that most likely is just not true. However after seeing article after article over the past 3 years warn about potential dangers I'm not sure how you could automatically think of e-vapor as "harmless water vapor". (As it's marketed) On the flip side, I agree some of the warnings are probably precautionary without evidence, but like the study you mentioned there are reasons to be alarmed. Case in point; I asked my friend who vapes daily and he uses a voltage of 4-5.5. (and so do his friends) They say it tastes just fine. That voltage range has been shown to produce that formaldehyde you argue isn't an issue. Regardless of the specifics, I argue nothing is definitive at this point. They are still researching and the verdict is not out. It's presumptuous to assume otherwise. There are so many manufacturers of the juice, theres no way they are all created equal. E-cigs are relatively new; it can take years to research the true health effects of anything.

Well it certainly does with socialized healthcare. The fat asses will cost as much or more than the smokers ever will. 1st you remove the right to smoke becuase you force Healthcare on the people. Every single one of those studies in the past 3 years has been proven to be bullshit or using methods that the devices aren't capable of producing in the hands of humans (i.e. the suction rate applied, specifically, in the formaldehyde study). I feel like I'm repeating myself.
