2012 Alpina B7 with Dinan Upgrades

just bought this new, Lots of options, but I have been pretty please with this cars ability on the highway, it is just meant to drive hard, fells like the car is just waking up at 100 mph,

having problems with my Valentine radar because of the active cruise, lane departure and blind spot detection.. - I guess I will have to figure out what other options I have to go with for a new radar. Too bad, I loved my Valentine

I also have lane departure and blind spot detection and have not had any problems with my Valentine. I have it mounted just left of the rear view mirror.

Nice looking ride, post up a few more pics.

have a 2012 750Li with lane departure, blind spot, heads up, night vision (no acc) and have no problems with my 9500ci

the acc uses radar in the front of the vehicle so it may be what is setting it off

I turned off the X and K band and the problems went away. You can only do this if the LEO in your area don't use equipment that operates on those bands.

There are a number of options to get the V1 to work. In my case my software version on the V1 was new enough that I could enable the "traffic monitor filter." Haven't had a single false from the blind spot detection and didn't have to turn K band off.

Call Valentine and ask them what your options are. If your unit it older they offer a very nice upgrade plan which will replace it with a brand new one.
