Arrow Exhaust Opinion

Remember when all of those forum members were hating on the Lexus IS-F and Lexus LS-model range for their "disconneted tailpipes".

Funny how now its happening again..

They're disconnected because you can't have an exhaust connected to a static part of the car, i.e. the rear bumper. The exhaust needs to be free to move around on its hangers under load and whatnot (best example is on Corvettes, those quad tips seem to go up and down like crazy during a launch). So in order to achieve that look of integrated exhaust tips, they just point the outlets through holes in the bumper.

The difference is that the 7 series' actually fit correctly, aren't positioned like Mr. Garrison' nipples, and don't look like an after market part.

Plus, the valve on the inner tips for volume control is pretty awesome, imo.

Plus, I'm not sure a hand fits in there either.
