You guys in PA have a drinking problem!

High demand/sales cause credit card system at PA state liquor stores to crash?

Truly a Happy Thanksgiving in PA!!

They need the system that we have here. If it ever crashed they would burn down the state.

Here I am. I did not here that about the computers crashing at our "state stores".

We have to buy our alcohol at either a beer distributor Or for liquor we need to buy from a state store. Other states allow beer to be bought in supermarkets etc... Not us ... and there have been many attempts to get rid of the state store system but they won't because of the tax revenue.

As for me, I don't drink much. A few beers on the weekend or on a special election night.

Hey hey ehey,... watch it bucko.. PA has some beautiful areas. I live about 50 miles NW of Philadelphia and it's nice place to live.

Our roads always need fixing. I think because there are so many in PA being an old state with many many roads. And we get a 100 degree temperature swing within a 12 month period. That works on the roads and pot holes appear every year. I hate our roads.

Long Island/Cross Bronx Roads

If you want bad roads, try Long Island or the Cross Bronx. I call these areas "mean distance between pot holes of 10 feet". So much money there and this is the impression you get when travelling thru. Chamber of Commerse should take note.

Ha! Just busting your balls. There are some nice places. Similar to myself just driving 45 mins west on I66 in VA. Beautiful country out there. But, I could never live there.

It amazes me, how PA has one of the best friendly gun laws,
However when i comes to alcohol, it acts like this super oppressive state, controlling alcohol with an Iron Fist!!! I never understood
Across the river NJ is the opposite, gun laws vs Alcohol.
Meanwhile in FL, you can buy Beer/Ammunition at 2 oclock in the morning at Walmart

Yeah, that said our state stores are not a real problem. They are in every strip mall and beer distributors are not very hard to find it's just unique.

Our state stores actually say state store on ther building. It's still a dumb system.

You guys need a more reliable system. We run out of alcohol rather than of methods to pay for it.

We somehow survived. It is not a big deal, just funny. Didn't effect anyone I know. I went to a cousins house for Thanksgiving and it was never mentioned.

If it keeps happening I'll make my own wine like my father did as a kid. They would crush grapes in a bin and let ferment. Was a common prctice in Italian households in the 1940's... lol

I've seen the horror of running out of alcohol (we'd drink). It is bad.

In my youth (so a long time ago) the whole company (army times) went to a cabin for unload, watch porn or bring your girlfriend weekend. It was epic, tents and all and as the only female who wasn't a gf, and my then bf wasn't very nice to my friends.

But yeah, we were in a tiny town that had one shop that sold alcohol other than beer. It seriously ran out of everything cheap vodka like and I was told the town had for that night two police officers instead of one on call.

As far as I know, which isn't much since I fell asleep after I set my bf and me our tent up, we did run out of alcohol but no cops were needed.

But anyway, truly hope you guys make it, and I expect a report after you get the black Friday cc bills.
