This really is just a ploy for Apple to make money. Licensing fees for lightning certification for headphones from all manufacturers. Licensing fees for those manufacturers that want to use the same proprietary wireless connection their ugly ass wireless, battery powered version of the shitty stock wired earbuds of years past that are going to cost $160 and will be easily lost down a bathroom sink drain. For both the former and the latter, they're going to happily charge you a shit load of money extra for the Beats version of both that will sound a little better and, like other Beats products, break in a year's time.

Yes, I know there's an adapter in the box. Who the fuck wants to use an adapter all the time? Again, NO ONE.

I am getting a SE, I don't care about the pics I take with my phone enough to ever carry a pocket tablet. 3D touch can suck my ass, IDC about that either.

I agree that the removal was stupid, but overall it's not going to affect me too much. Bose finally came out with the Soundsport Wireless which I've been waiting for for a long time (as my workout headphones). For my custom JH Audio IEMs it's a bit of a different story but I'll just throw the adapter on there and leave it.

Based on what I just read. Apple reduced the size of the battery in the 6S and 6S+ to make room for the Taptic Engine and the headphone jack delete (and probably the home button update) allow for a larger battery.

Yeah I went with the iPhone upgrade program so I was limited to ordering through them. My 6 works just fine and can wait the additional few weeks

HTC has been making phones with killer onboard speakers for several years ... and maintained a headphone jack. Ingenious people ...

I forget the details but the guy sent payment and I almost accepted but noticed something wasn't verified. May have been address or somethinig.

When I called out one buyer in feedback as a scammer for requesting IMIE before payment and relisted the scamming bidders really ratcheted up in retaliation, I think.
