WOW... Awesome collection.

Here's some of the models I've collected over the years:

Actualy, it's possible that in the future you will be able to meet miniatures exhibition in a few BMW Showrooms in the world. I don't know when and where exactly but I know that there are people who are interested in organizing similar display.

AUTOart doesn't hava a license for new BMW cars.
The M3 ZCP will be manufactured by GT Spirit which produce models from resin so it won't have opening parts.
Future BMW models based on metal are being prepared by Paragon-Models.

bmw1racer, the scale 1:43 is not my cup of tea, but I must admit that your display looks really cool. The thing I like in these models is the fact that nearly every of them come in a plexi vitrine.

Thanks! I wouldn't mind having more 1:18 scale versions, but space and cost prohibit me from doing so...

I normally avoid resin, but they keep making rare and quirky cars not offered in diecast. I bought my first one, an OttoMobile Ford Sierra and I could see buying more in the future. They now offer a 1/12 E36 M3 in Estoril. You are not going to see that offered in diecast.
