I was in the dealer getting my car serviced, and both of these were in the showroom. Since both are almost the same price, I'm curious what people would choose. Pretend you have $120,000 CAD in the bank and you have to walk out with one of the two.

I'd pick up a used m5 for around $80k and leave the remaining for a strong down payment on an M2. Ain't got no love for the m3/m4s.

M3 coupe. I'd make the dealer remove the 'M4' badge and put the correct one on there. But definitely that car over the M5.

M5. M4/3 are good but more track oriented. M5 has always been the company flagship and best for overall street use. Especially that one that includes the competition package.

M3/4 are confused as to whether they want to be luxury cruisers or not, so since that is what you will get, go for the one that was designed to be the autobahn king in the first place.

The M5 weighs over 800 lbs. more than the M3/M4. No way I'd take the M5 over the M3, thanks.
