Touch command - Power off

Does anyone know if the touch command turns itself off after a time once you lock the car? I noticed mine was still on tonight, I waited maybe a minute and nothing happened so I turned it off manually

No it does not. It is essentially a regular Android tablet, and behaves as such. But I see no reason to worry and turn it off manually - on standby it should keep charge for a couple of weeks at least

I think mine must not have the power settings configured as there no need to keep the screen alive once I have turned off the car. Other than that I will have to take it out at night

Yes, it can. You need to be on wifi though as it does not have SIM card slot

yeah I figure I'll stick a micro sd card in it and load it with movies for the kids, if I ever get round to coding and removing the video in motion

I have coded my already. VIM works, but with limitations - video cuts off at 63 km/h and resumes when the car slows down to 31 km/h. Still good in city traffic.

Other things are codeable as well: office in motion, user manual in motion, tyre temperature (in addition to pressure), call time/date stamp, do not turn on A/C when pressing AUTO on HVAC panel, remember A/C off setting, enable DRL checkbox on NBT, M Performance start animation and something else as well.

Still struggling to memorise START-STOP OFF setting
