so you would not believe my luck with this car...

Woke up this morning and didnt feel good, world decided I needed to chuck up breakfast for the last 8 hours

It was already to go, on display in the showroom but I could not drive if i wanted to, so...

The dealer is delivering in the next 30/60 mins to my house, did make me feel better. Now gently using lucozade intravenously

your car has now been confirmed for build - the chassis I can retrieve from the system is G766138
Expected to land with us here at the dealership week commencing the 24th of October.

ITs not a VIN though.....
Just back from holiday and chased the dealer - it's in the country now awaiting delivery so hoping next week!

She is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l! Carbon black rules, and so does the shadow line trim. So glad your wait is over.

Happy driving!

Belated photos of my toy. The car could be cleaner, but this is first time I could take pictures unobstructed by other cars

Great looking car is that Singapore Grey ? I ordered that too 😃

How do you find the laser lights? I didn't order them and wondered how good they are?

The size is the one think putting me off, I keep telling myself it's only a ruler 30mm longer than my last car but I know I'll get grief from the missus when she has to park it on the weekly shop. Be good to know after a week how you are finding the mpg?

Correct, Singapore Grey.

Laser lights - mostly useless, unless you often drive on unlit roads with little traffic, then it is excellent.

Lasers are only activated automatically if conditions permit - I personally rarely find myself in such situations.

good to know, I found since getting xenons on a bmw a few years back, they really provided everything i needed, so I thought the standard lights on a G11 would be up to my needs

I'm getting used to it already, the cameras are a big plus and the sensors are so good now you cant fault them. One touch I love is that the camera is automatically activated with the sensor when I'm pulling onto my drive.

So mine was just the pdc alert kicking in, but since I have found the gps activation setting in surround view (was a little tricky to activate but got there), will try it out tomorrow when returning home
