M specific key and map in clocks
I have my 7 on order and have been eager to find out as much as I can about the car before it arrives and so there are a few items with hardly any confirmed information.
1. The brochure mention a "M Specific key" for the M - Sport 2. I have seen the navigation map displayed inside the rev counter but no videos online 3. M Braking system (blue calipers and maybe bigger discs), no real pictures available If anyone has an m-sport, especially in the uk, can anyone confirm or show? thanks Tye |

M Specific key refers to the additional side M color stripes similar to the one in the attached picture. Please note the key in the attached picture is not for the 7 series. The 7 series key fob has chrome buttons and the last button is to trigger the panic alarm.

Option 2NH (M Sportbrake) will look like this:
But it is not part of M Package, you need to order it separately. In M Package you would get regular calipers with white 'BMW' signs on them |

You can have small map displayed in KOMBI. But if you have HUD, the small map is either on HUD, or on KOMBI (same with entertainment list)

Here you can see something... From 21:22 to 21:33 you see nav directions in place of tacho, and then it changes back to tacho.

I disabled the navigation display in HUB and some navigational information does appear in the instrument cluster. However, the information is very limited and nowhere near what was showed in the nice picture above. I guess I will keep it in the HUB for now.
