I think judgement should be at least reserved until after official release which will include actual full photos.

To be fair the 7 series has always been pretty ugly compared to the S class.

BMW has been all over the place, from the design of the 7 series to the hommage concept. They can't make something between!?

I do like it though, before anyone shoves a steering wheel up my butt

But I'm skeptical based on BMW's most recent offerings.
Reviews so far mention no steering feel whatsoever. Bmw cant make a eps. What else is new. At least they are consistent. It will be no match for next gen panamera (current gen aswell?) yes different cars but price similar and people shop around. I did.

Doesn't look too bad. Holding off a final opinion until the official release. But I'm going to miss the menacing shark look of the current gen M sport!

I'll bet it's one of those vehicles that don't seem special in photos but a lot better in person.

Hopefully the rear seats offer the same comfort level as the s-class (really hope it comes with an ottoman as well).

The 10 people in the world that actually care about the new 7 series probably saw this and were like "ummm ok". Lol

Don't remember the nicknames, but some idiots here compared this to the RR after the private show...Because of them, I got my hopes high. They said it would be above the s. Lol
Don't get me wrong, it's a good car. Much better than the previos F, which was ugly... But nothing revolutionary here. The interior looks the same. Has the better quality and the attention to the small details though. No plastic buttons and knobs. That's good...
Let's wait for the good photos.

I absolutely LOVE how you assume I can't afford an S-Class/7-Series just because I drive an M3 and you drive an M6

By your logic, Warren Buffet must not be able to afford either car either cause he still drives a beat up car too right?

This is pure garbage, nothing new at all from the exterior other than make it look like a whale 3 series? The iPad in the dash STILL? What were they even doing all these years? BMW is becoming very dull, with no passion in the looks department.

Lol the moment I see an article about the 7 series I know there's going to be endless hate in the comments. I like it. I like how it looks more different from the 3er than the S does from the C - although the S does look better overall but I'm sure the 7 would look better IRL. Speaking of the 3, It looks and feels so cheap it's hard to believe the same company makes both the luxurious new 7er and the 3/4-series with its cheap plastic interior and ancient tail lights.

Mercedes-Benz

New BMW looking old, loose, boring.

Even the "bangle-butt" was still a try at something new and led to new designs.

MB has made an evolution at every stage.
