I also don't like the silver metal over the steering and controls in center console. Maybe with individual you can customize it a dark metal?

Of all the pictures I've seen of the new 7, this is by far the most flattering image.

I think it looks great inside and out. I even like the metal trim around the HVAC controls and I love the stitching and braiding on the seats!

If I had to get one, probably go white exterior with Fiona red interior.
The car featured in the video looks like BMW Individual Composition trim.

For further customization options and choices, wait for the extended program BMW individual Manufaktur

I want mine carved from a single titanium alloy billet.
With black all-alcantara interior and black wheels.

Unfortunately the orange peel of the paint is the same like for a 20.000 eur 1series.
It's a shame that they are not able to deliver paint in "perfect condition". Wet sanding is the to-do for the paint enthusiast...

I think dropping a grand or so on paint correction and protection at a good detailer is just the cost of doing business for these cars. Pretty much every luxury brand suffers from it, not just BMW.

I love the steering wheel and the metal bits on it. I haven't felt them yet, but so long as they are genuine metal and feel like it then I think I will be happy

I personally think that it's something that would have to be seen IRL. I'm wondering if it's as shiny as it looks in the videos.

As for the car, it's stunning. I wouldn't mind driving that car after a long day at work. Might need to look into a used 7er

Frozen Matte colors, Imola Red, Sepia Violet, Dakar Yellow, etc.) or heck you can even make your own color via Sonderlackierung (690).

I do wonder if there are limitations though with regards to the extent that can be done with such a bespoke customization (hehe like can I add automatic weapons such as in the Pierce Brosnan 007 movies haha xD)

I guess we'll know once the bespoke customization programme (BMW INDIVIDUAL MANUFAKTUR) becomes available on March 2016
I don't think it is anything new - it is just that they are improving the interface to Individual - e.g. the Individual design studio which is now available in California means US customers can consult with a designer to customize the car. You could always do this - just that before you had to contact an insider at BMW Individual Studio and go to Germany if you wanted really personal service.

I love interior and conservative overall body shape but I feel they just WANTED to reshape it for different look. But not work for me.

I like this perspective from the end of the video as well. It's a little far away from the camera, but the profile from this angle is outstanding and shows off traditional BMW proportions. Strong hind-quarters, short overhang, chassis sits low and tight over the large wheels. Really nice!

Cool info. Thanks for sharing.

It reminds me of Blue.Thunder and his bespoke M5 CP.

That said
I do agree that majority of local dealers can be clueless with regard to bespoke customizations. The only exceptions would probably be the likes of Rolls Royce and Bentley wherein all sales people are made aware and throughly trained on bespoke customization options.

Anyways, some insider info mentioned that the BMW Individual program will be expanded further. I do wonder what they're planning to add this time.

March 2016 could not come sooner =)
