First photo/rendering/drawing of the new 7 that I like.
That just looks downright sexy - mostly because it hides the worst part of the car (the rear).

For the first time ever an Alpina looks goods. I know why though:

1. its only a sketch, in real-life I think those wheels and lip might look tacky on the 7.
2. the current front bumper looks weak/boring and weird against the huge grills. The lip adds depth to the front bumper. I still dont like the chrome strip on the bumper

Totally agree with you........it's a sketch and ALL sketches look good. The finished product is a whole other story.....

Nonetheless, I'm certain it will look better than a stock 7er....

+1 on first great pic.. I mean I love this concept, subtle alpina styling COULD be perfect for this car.

Regarding the other bit on worst part of car... Comon - admit it most of you guys knock it down NOT because ifts BAD design, but BECAUSe it looks like Lexus. And I don't think that's a bad thing. I like the 7 anyway, and Alpina will make this a better BMW because they always tend to improve Munich's cars, while making them more sporty and comfortable at the same time. Their 335 and 320d remakes are great cars and some say their 335 remake is actually better everyday car than the M3. With the 7 --- matching good sporty looks to comfortable ride their formula will be a win, i'm sure.

i actually dont think the rear is the worst part of the car..its mostly the huge front grill dat don line up well wit the headlights that i hate the most..but the alpina rendering is quite nice..it tones down the huge grills imo..hopefully irl will look as good..

wow, that rendering actually looks really really nice, lets home alpina will do something that will make that GRILLLLE not stand out that much in an ugly way. if the real car comes just a little close to this rendering it will look amazing.

Sexy. That picture of the back looks great too. As always (for me at least), new BMW's take time, but eventually they grow on you. And the previous alpina 7 looked amazing in real life too, so I'm sure this one will look almost as good as the sketch

I love it! It seems to flow more than the previous B7 and the normal F01
