Took delivery of my 2016 750 xDrive tonight
Black sapphire metallic and black nappa leather inside.
All options - except rear seat executive lounge / entertainment screens and the scent package. Amazing car. Tech geek heaven. Panoramic sky lounge is unmatched. B&W sound amazing. New iDrive interface fresh and exciting. Ride is responsive and sporty. This is nothing like the older 7's. Big issue for me is mine came with the optional 'space saving' (yeah, right!) spare tire - and unfortunately, it takes up most of the trunk. I don't understand why a car with run flat tires even needs a spare. Another issue they should tell you about - Activating 4g lte wi fi hotspot - you can't use apple products to initially activate your trial period, but after you activate initially with an android device or laptop, Apple devices then will work fine with the in car hotspot. Display key is way cool (but more of a novelty), as is inductive in car cell and display key charging. For iDrive split screen content, BMW has not included some of the widgets like weather and clock, etc. that were on my M6 and others. Amazing vehicle. More detailed review to follow soon. And pix!!

EXCELLENT! Love the photos. Thanks for being so thorough! You're right -- the sky lounge is incredible. Looks sooo cool, and you captured it perfectly. BMW should use your shots in their online product materials; you did a better job haha!
Quick question -- you mentioned yours came with the space-saver spare tire. Was that inadvertently ticked as an option for you when you ordered the car, or did you just have the dealer find a car already in inventory someplace that met your criteria? I ask because I ordered a G12 from the factory and don't want to be surprised when it arrives to find I've got a spare (I'd prefer the extra room in the trunk).

It was already an option that was on the car when my dealer found the car that closely matched my option and package requirements. It takes up tons of room in the trunk!!!!
When does yours arrive? What colors?

- Mineral White Metallic - Mocha Nappa Leather - Fineline Black wood trim - M-Sport + all other options except executive lounge and interior design pkg (the only two packages I didn't select). It should be here sometime in March. As I mentioned in the other thread... the wait is going to be agonizing!

Not that I'm trying to convince you otherwise, but I parked my current 2012 F02 next to a 2016 G12 at my dealership the day I ordered, and I've gotta tell ya, the differences are really profound when the cars are side-by-side. My F02 looks so... I don't know... bloated? next to the G12. The lines on the G12 are more crisp and purposeful... the front and rear facias are somehow more focused and just a little meaner. The sides of the car are less "slab-like" to my eyes. It's a great looking car.

Very nice!
Quick question, though - you guys in the US can get the panoramic sunroof with SkyLounge on G11 as well? In Europe it can only be ordered with long-wheelbase versions... |

BMW is only importing the G12 to the US, so, yes, it's an option on every new 7-Series in the US.
