That's about right. Since I'm not a fan of desserts, I can't justify the cost to benefit ratio....

I really really appreciate the person who bought these for me, because he knew that I would never buy stuff like that for myself. However, I would have enjoyed walmart gift card (me being ghe-cheap) more. haha

WHen I first thought it was $0.75/each, I was eating 3 per minute rate @ 1st miunute. After I found out it was ~$3/ea from my wife, I was eating 1 per day.

Mathematically, I should be eating 1 per minutes for the 1st minute. Since I am very price elastic, demand curves are exponential respect to price.

I'm only young, childless and unmarried once right?!
Sorry to hear about your rough road bro. I've had an insanely rough road as well. I'm not sure the best way to say this without a "disclosure" warning, so please don't take it personally I am speaking only in general/my experience, and not based on anything you've said at all:

A significant loss of life or rough road is usually paved in a very unfair way. I've learned that comparing your loss to others or thinking you have it harder in life just makes stuff worse. Try not to blame "god" or waste time proving he doesn't exist. I'll say this very publically, in 2005 I threw the middle fingers up in the sky and told him I'd find my own way through life. On December 2005 right before Christmas, I walked downstairs in the morning to find my father brutally murdered in our living room, and our house was robbed.... On the flip side, I have also found that doing your best to make others lives more genuinely enjoyable consequently adds more purpose to your own road of life. With that being said, lunch and a beer on me whenever you're back in SoCal bro. I know some amazing spots close to us. Cheers man

Back from Cuba, my cigar game is strong. My friend Pedro rolled me fresh ones everyday.

Thats great, I've never had a Cuban cigar. One of my friends had gone to Nicaragua and came back with a bunch (unflavored) and gladly shared them with me and I just love them. Have you had the Nicaraguan ones? If yes, how would you compare the two?

I've had some really good Nicaraguan cigars and sometimes prefer them. I find that they have a rich, and light spicy flavor to them that make them pretty distinct in taste. I don't like that now a lot of quality Nicaraguan cigars can be found for the same price as quality Cuban Cigars. It's really up to the individual. I'm ok with either.

It struck me as funny the other day: The US has no formal relations with Cuba, I can't smoke a Cuban in the US, but we have a prison there???

I'm Cuban but thankfully I don't drive like 99% of them down here in Miami.

BTW, leaving work early today to buy new lights for our office. Boss said I can get whatever. I'm thinking track lighting?

So the DVD player stopped playing in the minivan several weeks ago. The wifey lets the 3 year old play around in the front seat and she thinks maybe he might have put a coin in there. Yep, he sure did, 19 in all including a nickel that was melted to the circuit board rendering it unrepairable.

Anyone care to take a stab at how much this one cost me? Keep in mind in the Honda Odyssey the nav/cd/radio/dvd is all one unit.

Time to look at aftermarket options with upgraded speakers if it's in that price range.

All set for raceweek at Laguna Seca and Monterey! We leave tomorrow and back on Monday. We'll be at a rally on Friday, then auction, races on Saturday with BMW CCA, and Pebble Beach Concours on Sunday. Car is gassed up and shiny, MP3 updated, reservations made, odometer zeroed! Woohoo!
