I think this video was a nice balance of conveying the engagement weekend without divulging much privacy. No voice was a perfect way to do that in my opinion. I'm sure this video has some moments in it where only you guys know what happened just before, just after, or what you were talking about during clips. That will keep it extra special for you guys.

I totally get wanting to share as it did come out very well. Plus, people like seeing other happy people. So thanks for posting!

Well done! In the beginning when you walked out of the apartment I was like "where the hell is the car.........oh yeah, I would park far away too in an end spot" =)

Congrats!

You make a great point. I didn't think about the privacy until after I had edited everything. But I'm glad you don't see my license plate or much of the apartment etc... And yes it is very cool to know more about what really happened that day. This really is just a 4 minute snapshot of all the different moments. What's great is I have all the other hours of video still saved on my computer.

Congrats!
Hahahaha! I did it for a couple reasons. I had just washed the car that morning and that area is next to the car wash spot. That area also never has any cars parked by those spots since the units there have garages, and I was fairly certain no birds would bomb it there.

It also made a great angle for walking up to it without another car videobombing it

But I normally do have an end spot that is closer to my front door

Pretty good compilation of that induhvidual actually. Accurately sums up how afraid I am for my country in the coming years under his leadership.

This proposal was really really great and the wedding is going to be, you know, even better. i mean, this wedding is going to be so great, I tell you. Other people will wish they had their wedding. That is how amazing this it will be. And don't even get me started on the marriage. I know, I've had 5 of them, so I should know a good marriage when I see one.

Yeah, last time you offered "constructive criticism", it didn't end so well.

OP: Nice video

Congratulations to you both! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, you can make wedding planning fun I'm learning.

We just got engaged in August in Kauai and I paid a photographer to capture and had someone assist with the setup at sunset. One of my best decisions ever and glad we have the photos to remember.

Good call on Wrightsville and looks like you are at Roy's when on the river? I grew up in NC and graduated from UNCW so I know that area well.

Thank you so much! We are very excited.

And what a small world. I grew up in Raleigh all my life, and went to Wake Forest for my undergraduate. My family had a history of going to Edisto Island, SC when they were younger, so that's where they always took me and my sisters when we were young. I actually don't think I ever went to Wilmington and the surrounding beaches until I began dating my girlfriend since she has family over there.

We both absolutely love that part of the state. I could definitely see us settling down over there. Congratulations on your engagement! I'm sure that those came out beautiful. I thought about that as well with trying to pay a photographer. Except I wasn't even sure of the best location to do this, and as a result felt like the less moving parts the better. Since she is more familiar with the area I asked her where we should go take the photos and by some miracle it all turned out very well.

Yes, that was Roy's Riverboat Landing. We were bummed that the dinner service hadn't started yet when we ate there but loved our lunches. We will definitely be back. It's a place she has always told me she wanted to go to eat but we had never gotten around to it. So I'm very glad our first time there was so special.

No doubt! She's a smokeshow! I'm lucky for many reasons though. It's amazing how level headed she is and what lengths she will go to help her family and others.
