Paddle Shift

Does anyone know if it is possible to add the "paddle shift" to our current 2011 740i. My salesman said thats factory option if I didn't order the sports package. I wonder if someone did that to their car. I know people have done that on their 3 series 335i.

He lied, there are no paddle shifters for the F01/F02 7er
The transmission lever handles the manual shift
The Alpina B7 has "shift buttons" on the back of the steering wheel but there's nothing like that for the regular 7er
