No thank you. No thank you. No thank you. No thank you. Not right now. No thank you. Maybe in a few minutes. No thank you. No thank you.

Here's my advice: cut that trip down to 2 nights and switch to a nicer hotel with a big pool bar scene. The pool at Caesar's, for example, is outrageous. On the afternoon of the 4th day you are going to be begging for someone to take you to the airport.

To cure your hangover there is only one option: the outdoor bar at Fatburger.

Other than that, DON'T go to Gordon Ramsey's pub in Ceasar's - it's terrible. I made the mistake of going thinking it might have good food. Terrible service to boot too. Only good thing was this craft beer they had there (really expensive, but really good - can't remember the name unfortunately, feel like it had something to do with the devil or Halloween on the bottle or the name). The beer was really good. Perhaps because even they couldn't ruin something in a bottle, I don't know.

Have fun!
Gordon Ramsey Steak at the Paris was excellent. That goes for the service as well.

I tell them to F OFF and get me a real menu every single time.
I don't know what places you are going to man, but the restaurants are one of the best parts of Vegas. Yes there are a few places that aren't superb on the service end, but nothing terrible by a long shot. I don't think I've been to any places that have not been at least very good overall, food and service. I've been to Vegas 5 or 6 times. I think the only place they did give me an iPad menu was at Ramsey Steak, but they also wheel a fucking cart up to you with an example of every cut of steak they have on it. Chill out man, maybe you get the "robotic" service because you give off that particular vibe. You often get what you give when it comes to interactions.

"Food for thought" - Don't fuck with the people who prepare your food. Sounds like you might have gotten the special sauce a few times.

Now that I've thought about it...good point. You're right.

2 is too short. I feel, from experience, 3 days is the sweet spot because, you're right, by day 4 I was more than ready to go home.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

I am definitely going to try that $20 thing when I check in.

I had heard of Spearmint Rhino before and I read some mixed reviews. I am still undecided on if I want to go.

Unfortunately the pool at the Luxor is closed during the colder months but because of that you are given passes to the pool at one of its sister hotels (Excalibur I think?)

I completely forgot about the Hoover dam! I am assuming you can take a shuttle there or something. I definitely want to do that.

I dunno what the attraction is re. girlie bars, i mean if you're single and all just hire a good time so to speak. Spending hundreds on a lap dance is a little anti-climatic.

I don't have a lot of time there so obviously anything that takes a whole day to get to (like a national park) is out of the question.

Just for reference, I am 23 and I enjoy shooting craps.

Thanks guys
OP, Im your same age and visited Vegas for the first time when I was 21. One of the best times of my life. Im a huge foodie and love restaurants so that's one of the great things Vegas has to offer. If you want a few recommendations don't hesitate to ask. Idk if you a golfer or like wine/cigars, but I have a few things I can recommend in that area as well. Have a great time

This is good advice and it works. But you want to make sure you ask for a "complimentary upgrade". It worked for me at Paris.

No, just some friendly advice. I thought you came across kind of intense there. Vegas is for fun (usually), don't get so worked up over petty things. And don't mess with anyone who can Super Trooper your burger.

No it's def not. It's on the high side, but not THAT much. I actually got a lap dance from a girl, and then started chatting it up with her a bit cuz I found out she rode bikes, and she was asking me about some shit too. I forget exactly. But her tits, abs, and that fact were a nice sexy combo. Of course she tried to charge me for all the songs that played but I politely argued saying hey it's not my job to stop you after a song is up. We found a happy medium. Gave her a little bit extra on top of the 1 dance. Pretty sure it was still well under a hundred.

I am 25 and went to vegas for the first time with five other friends last fall. Get presale tickets to dayclubs and nightclubs. Look up who the star dj is and find out who is most popular. Obviously the popular one has the best looking girls going to it.
Talk to every girl you make eye contact with. Hooking up with girls is soooo easy.
Gambling is good for killing time between hooking up with girls and meeting them.
Drink lots of water. I can't give advice on drinking or eating because I was so pumped up on adrenaline I ate about 3 meals in four days and nights.
Every tourist is your best friend.
What happens in vegas stays in vegas except for those friends who snitch on you to your ex gf

Just let go of everything in your life when you go to vegas.

Don't pay for drinks. Sit at a penny slot in an area that you see a waitress consistently, and you'll be set.

I went to the ice bar, that was pretty neat, if you like being in an ice room and drinking. Wax museum was cool, touched everyone's boobs that I'll probably never get another chance to. There's a roller coaster on top of some hotel, I can't remember which, but that was a terrible idea after drinking, I do not recommend that one.

Also, if you don't have your own vehicle, use Uber, don't use a taxi. My dad met me from our resort at the Bellagio and spent an extra $20. Don't be like my dad.

Lots of nice looking friendly inebriated women around.

Thanks for all the advice guys!

Another question though. I know in the old days before the Casinos were run by computers, if you threw down a large amount of cash for chips you would definitely get comped regardless of how much you were betting. For example if you put down $5000 at a craps table even though it was a $10 table and was only betting you would get comps.

Because everything is tracked by computers now and they can more closely monitor your actual gambling, does that still work?
