The roads were really slick this morning around 6am. Anything that somewhat melted yesterday turned all the side roads and some of 64 into a skating rink. There were points where I got up to 70mph, but it wasn't until I was on I-40.

Lost the rear end a few times on the freeway. Hmpf.

Are you stocked up? The wife needed some things from the store last night, all I brought back was beer, pistachios and swiss rolls? hahaha

Not yet. Gotta go out at noon. Need to get beer. I do however, have bacon and Cabernet. So there's that. Should probably get something for dinner while I'm out. Coming up with ideas for dinner for one person every day is exhausting.

I'm confused here. You say you have bacon and Cabernet, yet you claim you should get something for dinner. Is there something that tops bacon and Cab for dinner?

I'm having a hard time coming up with something witty to say. I don't think there is..., I don't think there is.

There's nothing witty to say or there's nothing that tops bacon and Cab for dinner?

You're just clouding the issue further here...

Bacon covered bacon, with a side of bacon bits and bacon gravy, all toasted on a bacon baguette.

Manchego too! I often just cut slices off the quarter while sitting in bed watching TV. Often accompanied by a wee dram.

Second time this winter I could have used a snowblower. This is coming your way, Boston.
