Road Trip in the 7

Drove 1100 miles down to FL and it handled the roads like a dream. My wife said it feels like we're going in slow motion at one point, and I was doing 89mph. Doing triple digits (in Mexico) felt almost no different. Drove in comfort plus for most of the time except when passing or someone wanted to tailgate me. Definitely a great car.

I went ahead and purchased a spare 648M wheel and tire just to have a spare even though I probably won't need it already having brand new tires all around, but you never know.

Glad it's PPF'd for all the bugs I had to wash off. Just fits in the 2 car garage at the house here.

Looking clean, bro! Did you ever put 295/35 on the rear? I'm debating between 285/35 and 295/35.

And do you just have the spare sitting in the trunk?

Not yet. I have been deabting on doing it now vs waiting until the 285's wear out since they are brand new.

Yes, it's in a tire cover that I already had and sitting pushed in the rear of the trunk. Still plenty of space for all of the luggage.

Nice. Did you go with a 20x8.5 front and 255/40/20?

3000 miles later, the car exceeded my expectations for this road trip. I pushed it very hard on the highway, hitting pretty good speeds and the car is just a solid performer. I also thought the oem limiter was 130mph, but I was clearly wrong. I can't believe how smooth the car is.

Taking sharp curves at speed is a breeze in sport mode when it's at it's lowest.

Of course, I didn't need the spare, but had I not had it, I would have needed it.

The speed limiter is usually 155 mph over here. We have Germany nearby, so we can get to that and more. The car feels solid, certainly up to 180.

We would not have these cars without Germany being so close Done 151 in my 740 and was still asking for a bit more, but yeah, limited to 155.
What impressed me the most ?? After 30 min driving at around 135mph , MPG was 31.3 then dropped to 26.1 at 145mph.

I would love a 760 for summer hols .
