Bang Olsen subwoofer

After only of 5k doesn't go up any more in my front dash in my 2013 750li.
Now they ordered the part and apparently entire front dash has to come down.

Just make sure you take before and after pics before you turn in your car.Just for you to have a comparative perspective of the work.

I spoke to a friend of mine who is a BMW mechanic in Northern California, he said removing that part isn't a very big deal and you probably shouldn't worry much about it. Let BMW make it right and do their job, then continue to enjoy the hell out of your awesome car!

This nonsense about waiting for parts from germany is sickening. How are they operating overseas when they cant supply parts in a timely fashion. My 135i was in the shop for more than two months waiting for a headliner.I did not complain too much as i had no other choice[car was in an accident].I see you and Osx still waiting for a part which shouldn't have been defective in the first place for more than a month. It's one thing to be prepared to buy a car that breaks down often than competition, its a very different thing buying a car that would break down and be difficult to repair in a timely fashion.

^
BMW had a massive supply issue a couple months, that's why there's a backlog for parts.

My Parts finally came in (parking brake) The reason i never ordered B&O was because of quality issues with these systems in my homes. They don't seem to last more than a few years if used normally. I've had bad luck with B&O over the last 10 years, even though their systems look and sound amazing, components fail. I guess that can happen with anything electronic though. I sure hope the OP doesn't wait as long as I did for his speaker motor to come.

Well problem solved. After 3 days in the shop and another brand new unit from Germany. Problem was found to be bad wire in the dash feeding subwoofer that made it short circuit and burn out. Good thing when they testing the second unit that it didn't burn. Amazing sound I must say though.
