Potential Lease - Advice?

We are looking at a new 2017 740e that the dealer has discounted to move. Sticker price is $106K, after incentives (rebates, lease discount, etc) the price is $83K. It isn't 100 percent how I'd build it, but it's probably close enough. I've offered $78.5K after discounts, but haven't got an answer back yet.

Any advice on whether this is a fair offer, or other thoughts?

It's a fair offer and potentially a great deal...you just have to be convinced that you can not just live with the build, but are happy with how it's configured...lot of money regardless of deal for any regrets on color combo or options.

Thanks, roho3323, that is excellent advice. We met in the middle on pricing so I'm now the owner of 7-series! It's a beautiful car, and the configuration is far from sparse. Just not how I would have done it. There was some appeal to try out a hybrid vehicle, and we started out looking at a 530e. The 5er was just too anemic, but this car has enough "umph" to be fun and also very comfortable.
