Yes sir! I find it to be quite delicious, especially the sweet aftertaste. It runs about $80 at my local place, more than their bourbon, but packs much more flavor.

And thanks for the detail on those other brands, I will try them out.

If you're ever flying through Europe on a connecting flight in Zurich, I highly highly recommend the Swiss lounge there. They have a whisky bar with 200+ types of whisky, and it's all free to taste for people in the lounge. Awesome way to try several different types and find a few nicer bottles to have at home. It became one of my new favorite lounges when traveling this past year (I think Istanbul and Zurich are #1 & #2 for me)
I love Hibiki, and have a couple different bottles in my cubbord right now.

Btw, I like those lounges, but I prefer the T4 Virgin Clubhouse in LHR. Massages, hair cuts, pool tables, high end champagne flights, two restaurants. I love visiting that damn place.

Just a reminder that I haven't received my invitation for your NYE party yet. No rush, though.

Nah. No hangover. Just had one fishbowl glass. Had to drive Wifey to work earlier this morning, so I needed to be somewhat conscious.

Took a pic last night of some of the scotch I'm working on right now.

The newest acquisition (given my current cheap budget) is the bottle of Cutty Sark - the Prohibition edition. It's actually not bad for a blended scotch, and what is especially surprising is that it is somewhat smooth despite being 100 proof.

Not smooth like bruichladdich and macallan and others, more like how a .45 is smooth compared to a .357.

Dalwhinnie Winters Gold

I drive past this distillery once a week, and the setting is amazing. I've been meaning to buy something from here as the area is so inspiring. I thought I'd try this as it's supposed to be served frozen. It doesn't disappoint as I'm not that fond of the heavy peat whiskys. This is a bit smoky, with nice honey/apple tones

This is my Christmas treat.
