MIB is the nice guy with Delores currently. She is reliving the past memories (which explains why he goes to see her in the beginning of the show)

I believe it confirmed that there is no dual timeline.
When Dolores got to her home town it was desolate/abandoned and she has a flashback to 30 years ago. That itself brings the timeline to current day. Also the town is just like her visions of the church being destroyed and we know that Ford and Bernard have seen the same area. Edit: The quest of Dolores going how was based all on the assumption that when she got there... there would be people there. That's not the case now. Right now I think it's safe to assume that the 3 storylines going on are just on complete separate sides of the park. I think we're also seeing some new character development in William. When him and Dolores found that wounded boy by the river... IMO William looked like he was ready to put a bullet in that kid to end his "suffering" knowing that he's just a host. But he allowed Dolores to get some water. Personally, I thought he was just going to stand up and shoot the kid right when Dolores looked back. Also, looks like Hobbs is becoming suspicious of Bernard since he didnt give af that Teresa died. The MiB revealed a good bit about him but the mystery is still there and why he did the things that he did. Based on the previews it's safe to say that Angela and her creepy squad arent going to kill him and she didnt kill Teddy (he's just hurt). I think we may be in for a complete shift in character development and story by episode 10. I'll have to go back and watch it again tonight to get a better grasp of things. But I'm sure we're in for something good. IMO - last night's episode was a lot to take in. The switching back and forth then forth and back was a lot to keep up with. My head was spinning by 10p. Then Elsie.... |

However, I did binge watch the marathon on Saturday. Knowing that Bernard is a host, makes the previous episodes pretty interesting. The smallest details in his interactions with Ford makes sense now. Which brings me to I am simply amazed at how the writers took into account the smallest details and were able to incorporate them to roll into other episodes. Down right to the quotes Ford uses, one of which comes from the novel Frakenstein: "One man's life or death were but a small price to pay for the acquirement of the knowledge which I sought, for the the dominion I should acquire,"...straight up chilling when you think about it. The smallest detail when rewatched and thought about draws even more questions and theories. Part of me wants to think that everything we are seeing is happening is part of Ford's master plan and parts of his narrative are actually in motion. Like he's thought every single detail out to the last sentence. But at what point does Ford get bored with playing God? He's got to have some sort of end game or goal...but he's been doing this for 30+ years... when is enough or is his thirst for power infinite? There's a good article that points out some details what were shown last night. No real theories but some good points. http://www.thisisinsider.com/westwor...r-abernathy-12 Some details of Ford's narrative in the works show hosts that are in play right now and the various acts of the narrative. I've also checked out the IG and Twitter accounts of a lot of the actors and it seems like they are so stoked and excited about the show... like it's nothing they have ever done before. I think it's pretty cool to see how much they enjoy and embrace their roles. What I do like about the previous two episodes, was that it shows insight into the way the hosts start to become fully sentient and rebel against their human creators. Unlike in the original movie, shit just goes crazy and all you're left with is that the robots just go homicidal as part of a malfunction. However, the "game" Angela had the MiB go through had me like and reminded me of something like Saw haha Then there is this: I would expect some flat out CRAZY jaw dropping cliffhanger this coming Sunday. I hope that no one really dies as the cast is absolutely amazing...but something has gotta happen |

It should be good this Sunday. My wife has gone from "eh, ok, I'll watch" to "you didn't record Westworld!". We will see if there are 2 timelines, with Billy being the man in black. Bernard being a host was inspired! I hope he's not really dead........

Did anyone else notice the picture Logan gave Billy? It's the same picture Delores' father found...

Starting to realllly like this show.. first 1 or 2 episodes I was a little skepticale but now every episode ends with me saying "wtfff.. is happening??" Every episode leaves me more and more confused, lol. Just went things seem to be making sense, it gets even more twisted. I really want to see where things are going to be in like season 3 or something.

Oh boy, if there's ever a show that required my full attn, this is it as I usually do something on the side. Anyway, I don't wanna rewatch past epis. What's going on here? Totally confused haha.
1. was Arnold the human partner of Hopkins' character? I guess Hopkins killed him and replaced him w/ Bernard? Why to both questions? 2. Ed Harris' character is human? What's his deal? 3. How come the human visitors can get hurt? I thought it was supposed to be 'safe'? They can't get killed, can they? 4. what's the story w/ (guy who played) Cyclops' character? Like I said, I'm only giving this my partial attn so I missed A LOT. TIA. |
