The classic Spider-Man holding two halves together scene and iron man suited up!so much win.
Not totally sold on the Vulture armor.

Always to exciting to see Spider-Man on the big screen. He has been one of my favorite characters of all time since I can remember.

This is the third reboot though.... when is Hollywood going to allow him to graduate school and be the more mature Spider-Man instead of always being a student in HS or college...?

I know some people like TXSTYLE will be upset for me saying this.... but here goes...

I JUST saw Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron this week even though those are old movies now. I'm liking how Marvel Studios has been handling their characters, so hopefully they do a good job with Spidey, like they have done with Captain America's Character.

I get what you're saying about the back story and HS - but I think Sony was VERY smart to allow the crossover.

Everyone knows how he became Spiderman - I think this will be a much better movie than the prior attempts. It's basically a sequel for the first film - since he was introduced in Civil War.

I also don't think the Vulture will be the only villain in the film....

Maybe it's just me but the trailer seems to be missing something and I can't quite put my finger on it, but it didn't leave me wanting to watch the movie. I think I'd like to see a grown-up Spiderman for a change. The original animated series at least had him working at a Newspaper albeit a still a young person. Lets see a darker more seasoned spiderman.

Maybe my view will change when the film comes out, but I think this is one for Netflix.

I can understand that.
I did like the gritty take and the grown up feel of the original series.

I think the Tobie Maguire movies are better than the Andrew Garfield movies (especially #2, which was trash on par with SpiderMan 3) But I thought Andrew Garfield did a better job at BEING Peter Parker and Spider-man.

I think this is going to be one of the best of both worlds, unfortunately it won't be as serious (think Iron Man, and Avengers) but it should still be a good flix now that it's set in the same universe.

Trailer needed more Marisa Tomei.

I like the vibe I get from this one more than the last Spidey reboot. Will watch.

A complete win.

I think that linking the multiple franchises with common events is genius and will bring a feeling of continuity.

I cannot wait to see this movie!!

I do quite a bit of work/biz with Disney/Lucas/Marvel. Here's what I found out...
Spiderman Intellectual Property was in contract with Sony studios prior to Iron Man (pre- Disney's acquisition of Marvel). Sony had complete control of the narratives... which is why The last few reboots with Mcguire and Garfield done by Sony were crap IMO. Sony Contract for Spiderman theatrical release and consumer products has since expired... and Spidey has literally come back home to Marvel. Hence, they cleverly named this reboot "Homecoming". This reboot should definitely be in line with the Marvel Universe movies that Marvel Studios have been putting out since Iron Man. We should all be very excited.

I'm def looking forward to this one.

Michael Keaton's Vulture vs Stark upgraded Spiderman. In the Comic Book Civil War Stark did give Spiderman quite the upgrade.

Thanks for the info!!

You hit it right on the head. When Sony had the rights to Spider-Man, those movies had a few decent points or action sprinkled throughout each film, but they also missed the mark and ultimately disappointed the fans, including myself.

Now that Spidey is finally coming back home to Marvel, I'm sure they will spare no effort in making sure that one of, if not the most recognizable super hero of all time (not to mention merchandise cash cow) gets the treatment he deserves on the big screen.

Will we get to see his origin story for the third time?

Because I forgot how he got bit by a radioactive spider at Oscorp and got these powers and decided to use them for good after Uncle Ben was killed leaving Aunt May to raise him by herself.

I don't think they'll present it this way.

He has already been introduced as Spider-Man in Civil War....this is why I am excited for this version.

Not saying we may get a dose of the origin....but not as deep as the prior initial movies.

Yeah I know I was mostly joking.

I'm a big Spidey fan so I'm excited about this and glad Marvel is now pulling the creative strings.

I'm also happy that Michael Keaton, star of Birdman...a movie making fun of superhero movies, is playing a role where he is a bird super villain. He's come full circle.
