Challenger chase results in wrongful arrest (Video and picture proof)
So the guy from Camaro5 is driving along with his dashcam and sees a Challenger fly by. Later he takes a picture of the officer making the arrest but another user on the forum points out the cars are different. OP then goes to the police stating they got the wrong guy but they aren't interested in the evidence.
Follow the story here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=407548 OP from Camaro5 (original dashcam footage) Quote:

Possible it was a different offense and a different driver?

Seems unlikely given the short time frame. And the dashcam would have picked up both Challengers if they'd both been speeding. Also, I think the ID number on the police SUV matches both the pursuit and the pullover.

Ghetto? Not really. I think "trashy" might be a better word.

Had a fat neighbor who drove an orange R/T. Had black spray-painted wheels and sounded like a wet fart.
Always caught him staring at my car when I got home. Probably related to the time I emasculated him over the bridge into town.

Porsches are daily driven by bankers and doctors. The same can't be said for the rest of that list. Ferrari is a little different as almost none of them are daily driven and if they are, it's because the owner has fuck you money. Vipers and Hellcats are the type of cars driven by people who won $100k in a slip-and-fall at a Piggly Wiggly.

Ugh, nightmare scenario for that driver if indeed it wasn't him (obviously the cars are different but he could have been nailed for another charge). Back when I had my 135i, I got passed on the highway by a similar 135i (black, black tint, black wheels, etc.) doing about 130mph at least. There were obvious differences between our cars as I had a lot more done to mine, but to a casual observer (especially at that speed) they would have been the same cars. I was holding my breath the whole way home as I figured as shitty as my luck is, I was going to get nailed for how this idiot was driving.
