7 series question about M steering wheel

If i get the M package with the M steering wheel.. does it have paddle shifters or is that not available on any 7 series?

Thanks

No paddle shifters...

That's one thing BMW SHOULD have included in the M Sport package!

Thanks for the quick response!!.. I have another question for ya.. My lease ends at the end of the month and im looking to move to the 7 series.. I currently drive a 2009 328i and want to know if the 740i vs the 750i hp/speed wise is a huge difference.. I currently pay $705 after tax and the deal ive got for the 7 series is $746 with $2500 on the 740i and $866 with $2500 for the 750i... Is the 740i gonna be quick enough? or should I go with the 750i.. Im guessing since they dont have paddle shifters they aren't a sports car and it wont matter that much from the 740i to 750i

I never had the pleasure of driving a 740i. But if it's something like the difference between the X6 35i and the X6 50i, then I would go with the 50i for sure.

But there are other factors to consider too. If you are coming from a 328, be prepared to pay a lot more for gas as these cars do take a LOT more (of course it also depends on your driving style).

What is the MSRP on the 740i and 750i? $746 and 866? Wow that's a hell of a deal...

It's more or less the base 750...

You should at least consider the ARS and HUD options!!

Those are the only options I want really.. The M sport package would be cool but not stressin it.. Comfort access is now standard, as well as reserve camera, all i was conserned about was ac/heated seats and shadowline... Im a young guy, 27, so just the fact that im able to be able to afford a car like this is a blessing in its own.. I plan to put rims, tints on it as well as the alpine mss angel eyes 8k... Ya know the typical 20's aged guy stuff lol

Well, as I said, you should REALLY consider at least getting the ARS!
I drove a 750 without it... and man it's like night and day. All I can say is that I would not buy another 750 unless it has ARS in it. I would also not buy another car without HUD. Once you get used to it, it's hard going back to regular gauges...

I would suggest you go and test drive a 750 with and without ARS and see for yourself. Do a lot of turning and you'll feel the difference. The ride is a LOT more enjoyable with ARS!

ARS = Active Roll Stabilization

Active Roll Stabilization is an active suspension control system designed to reduce body-roll, or lean, while cornering. This improves the vehicle"s suspension geometry (the degree of wheel angle relative to vertical).

Nope, unless you get the Alpina B7, which has steering wheel mounted shift buttons not paddles.

You do have manual control over the shifting when you pull the shifter to the left (automatic sport mode) and then push or pull the shifter for up and down shifting (manual gear selection).
