Is stage 2 just a software flash? How much HP/Torque does it add to stage 1?

I'm anxious to see what the difference will be from Stage I to II.

Dinan is so overpriced and not worth the money. I have stage 1 on my 2010 and it gave me very little gains. I cant imagine stage 2 being that dramatic of a difference.

How does that makes even a slight sense? From 400 hp to 495 hp and 573 torque doesn't make a difference? U sure you even have dinan software programmed in ur car?

Yeah, I have to agree. It made a drastic difference in my car, the throtle response is much better. I was able to tell as soon as I hit the gas the first time. You will know if the upgrade worked because there is a bug that is obvious. The Efificent Dynamics gauge no longer works when you coast or hit the brakes, Dinan is working on the fix.

Stage I to Stage II is a small gain but from stock, it makes a world of difference! You should get your car dyno'd to see if the process actually went through. You can request them to redo the upgrade if it did not go through.

We have Stage 1 on our F10 550i and it was a HUGE difference all around! We plan on dynoing it soon!

Umm.Yea I have the software done. I dynoed before and after. Trust me its a joke. You honestly think that the software gives you 95HP? Come on now..

I have shared the results before with this board, and those results are not worth the price. Simple..

Did your ED gauge work when you had Stage 1? or did you start out with stage 2.

This was my post 1 year ago.

Well, I drove the car pretty hard tonight and it did seem a little bit better, but still not quite worth $2500. In fact I had a feeling I wasnt going to be "thrilled" with the gains simply becasue Dinan is notorious for very small gains. I attribute this to keeping the car under factory warranty, and not being able to get more boost out of the stock turbos which is sad, because these are essentially the same turbos that are on the X6M and X5M. I went to Foreign Affairs in Pompano Beach, near wiles road and Powerline.

The car currently has 9700 miles and I broke it in perfect. Keep in mind I had an 08 M5 which had a 150 shot of NOS and a Stage 3 from ASR in Miami. My M5 went 11.56 @124 MPH in the 1/4 mile at Moroso in Palm Beach. As far as the dyno went, the car had 4400 miles and the car dynoed at 397 to the wheels. YES 397 to the wheels. I know its hard to believe but its 100 percent true. Today, I had "Dinan Software" stage 1 added at Foreign Affairs, and after went to the same dyno. Car went from 397 to 446. Dont get me wrong I am certainly not bashing Dinan, but I am sure that in the next 6 months ASR, or Active in Miami will have a much better tune, for half the price. Car def feels a bit faster, but NOT Anyone from South Florida want to meet let me know Pm ME

Lets not forget one key point here you not only paying for the tune it actually covers you warranty as well, I doubt you can say that about active or asr....

Another thing...

I'm sure someone over there can boost it up to 20 psi as well the one problem is that our trany will be trying to chase out in the back....
