The V12 engine is and will be the best thing that will ever happen to the G11/G12 7 series........and will definitely be a more genuine and authentic performance-oriented variant (unlike the poser Alpina garbage)

I doubt this statement. It's a fake badge, it can be seen in the last pic.
Fake exhaust tips for 730d too.

This isn't the first time news of this model has been leaked.
If this was really on the configurator you can bet it's going to become a reality.

The configurator (at least BMWUSA) is hosed. It throws an error for all 7 series images.
