BMW 760Li Individual M-Sport at Toronto Autoshow

I went to the auto show yesterday and got some pictures of the 7er. It was truly one of the nicest cars (personally I think the nicest) at the show. Here are some of the pictures. Larger versions (and more of them) are in my flickr gallery as well.

NICE!!!!!

I'm going tomorrow morning... Have to take a really close look at it

Man if the 760Li was available with xDrive right now, I'd be back at my dealer right after the show to order it!

Are they not going to be offering the 760Li with xDrive? I thought I read that they were going to on the 750i/Li and 760i/Li? You've been wanting a 760 since day one! The car was just unexplainably hot; kicks the facelifted S in the back, hard! But as you can see from the pictures, it wasn't getting much attention. Everyone was fiddling with BMW's smaller cars, all of which were unlocked. The 760Li and the M cars were locked. But I got one of the reps to open the door and turn on the lights for a few shots

Went to the car show today and had a close look at the car. They unlocked it for me and I spent some time talking to some of the guys there about some of the differences between the 750 and 760.

I like the fact that the 760 has the 8 gearbox...

I have some pictures but need to transfer them from the camera first and don't have time right now to do that. Once I get around to it, I'll probably post some additional photos.

Oh on another note, I'm going to take a test drive in a Tesla sometime in the next week or so and have a look how that car handles... Instead of changing my 750 to the 760, I might just get a Tesla as a daily driver

Tesla is quite a bit different from the 760 haha; definitely an interesting switch if you go through with it.

Have you considered the B7 or the AH7 by any chance? They both have more power than the 750, both come in SWB (which I assume you like more based on your current choice - and the 760 is LWB only), and the latter has better fuel economy as well (which probably isn't a big deal to you).

I am considering the Tesla as a daily driver but I would definitely keep the 750. The standard warranty on my wife's beemer is going to end in September, so I am looking for a couple of different new cars for us...

xDrive - Tesla is right in my backyard and I have clients that enjoy them on a daily basis. It's a bit small - so it's like a go cart with a rocket motor...

I have driven the Tesla a couple of times and it is an amazing car. Look out for the Model S - I am also considering getting this 4 door or a Volt.

The S looks cool. From certain angles, it sort of looks like a panamera

I think the 6.0L TTV12 sticks out a little more than the 4.4L TTV8...

Here is a different angle of the engine...

Well, the cover for the V8 looks different and besides, the chrome side markers have the V12 engraved into them...

What colour is that? Moonstone or mineral white?

I didn't check the sheet, but it looks moonstone. It's definitely not mineral white though. Mineral white looks much closer to AW.

Agreed but that's body decals, but it's their jewel in the crown engine i'm referring to, unless you had a V8, a straight 6 and the V12 side by side, for the uneducated, there wouldn't be anything obvious to tell them apart. I guess I'm just used to MB making something of their power plants.

I really wish we could get MSport and Individual in the US. I realize we pay less than a lot of other places in the world, but sometimes we get smacked on availability of colours and options...
