what if you = unemployed?

First of all im 19, currently this is my second year of collage and have no idea what to major in(recommendations?) Still live with mom b/c campus is 10min drive from the house, but have plans to move. i almost lost my job last week due to my laziness, instead of me being fired i was suspended for a few days

. i have been with this company for 3 years and so far had 2 promotions since i started. i paid off my old car with this job and traded it in for a 335 about 6 months ago, i still owe about 20k on it. The good thing about this job is that it is salary and i only work mon-fri 5-10, sometimes less then 25hr a week. It also pays for collage, 401k matching and has great heath benefits. The question is what would you do if you were laid off or fired from your job tomorrow?

please discuss.

lol. i quit my job for a very very good internship. the trade wasn't that bad... if i needed a job after being fired or laid off, i'd be in the hunt... money or experienced isn't gained by twiddling your fingers

Sadly I agree with this. Someone is doing something wrong if they are paying a part time worker a full time salary with benefits.

But damadama, he never asked for advice, he asked what YOU would do if you get laid off.

I would have to sell my Z4 and immediately start looking for another job (probably wouldn't be TOO hard to find another one with what I do though)

See above. He did ask for some type of advice.

The sad part is that he actually did edit and fix what he thought was wrong with the statement "2ed year of collage." He changed it to "second year of collage."

1. He did not notice the collage
2. He did not know that you can use 2nd, so he actually spelled it out trying to fix 2ed.
