BMW 740i - while driving, computer goes crazy
while driving my 2013 740i (which only has 4K miles on it), the dashboard goes off and on, I get all errors that light up for chassis, parking brake, steering and lights. The windshield wipers go on and I am unable to drive it. The dashboard goes blank. this has happened twice and the first time, dealer said I hit a curb. It happened again 2 weeks later and now they are saying that the battery may be low. Does anyone know what can cause this to happen and should be concern that once my warranty runs out, it will keep happening? The dealer has ordered the gateway module to fix this but my level of confidence in them is low at this point. Please provide advice, i appreciate it.

The 7 series depreciates like a roller coaster drop. Reason being is that once out of warranty it becomes really expensive to maintain/repair. Also please stop hitting curbs Last edited by Delta0311; 12-02-2015 at 12:01 PM.. |
