8042DC BimmerCode

Hello all,

I have a 2016 750xi G12 model and received an 8042DC error code - Interior Light Unit 1 (ILE1): Internal Error or defective lamp, via BimmerLink after I had made some changes in BimmerCode (not in expert mode). I noticed the center hud lights no longer respond to the input buttons, but the rest of the vehicles interior lights work as normal. I attempted to do a restore but the front center lamps are not turning on when I press their corresponding buttons. One user on another forum advised I attempt a factory reset using VO Coding via E-Sys/PSdZData, but I am not familiar with the software and am trying to figure it out as I write this.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? The lamps were working just several days ago. I understand that the coding I altered in BimmerCode involved altering the FZD and I'm thinking something got altered accidentally, as the ILE1 doesn't exist in my vehicle as a user has pointed out on another forum. Trying to figure out how to reset that at this point?
