I just bought a 2013 Alpina B7 and did the oil change and changed some filters. Reset the oil life, but now it popped the vehicle check due. It had 3100miles till due. Then 300miles after I reset the oil life and now it’s showing 340miles overdue after 50ish miles of driving. Anyone know why this is and recommendations or should I also just reset the vehicle check? Not sure if this is a dumb question and something I should of researched before.

Did you happen to try and reset your vehicle check too? If so, reset the oil CBS first, then then the vehicle check. If this doesn't make sense, just perform another oil service reset.

(The above is assuming you are doing your CBS reset via the KOMBI (instrument cluster).....if you are using an external OBD II device through the OBDII port, please share the external tool you are using to resent your oil CBS)

Yes, I did the oil CBS reset via the cluster but hadn’t tried to reset the vehicle check. I was planning on taking it in when the vehicle check did go past due which is why I wasn’t planning on resetting it but will try what you recommended.
