My 2011 750Li M Package

I have a 2011 early production 750Li M package, every option with exception of lane departue and active cruise. Like the car, has some issues with low rpm light throttle hesitation. Going to trade her as soon as the new M5 is available. Heres a pic at the performance center when I picked her up...

Nice looking car; thank you for sharing!

Can you please describe your problem more fully?

Lets say you are driving at a steady 40mph and apply throttle, the car bucks or shudders. I had it to BMW a few times, they know about the problem, but don't have a fix for it. I know what the problem is and if BMW would fix it, it would change the EPA gas milage rating for the car to the worse. The issue is that the lock up clutch in the transmission enguages way to early - to keep engine RPM's down - and it cannot disenguage fast enough. Once it does disenguage the transmission does a hard down shift. It is VERY anoying. I am taking it back for the third time and once I have the third invoice stateing: "We can't fix it" I will make a strong case for an exchange for the new M5

I couldn't agree more about the jerking of the transmission. Let us know if your plan works.

I think that the problem will not be present on the LCI model, paired with the new 8 speed transmission...
