I did the BMW USA build site this morning (3/31/24), and under i7 xDrive 60...it is not offered. But it is on the window sticker as a stand alone $1300 option on a 2024 i7 xDrive 60 at our local dealer (was there yesterday). None of their other numerous i7 or ICE 760i had the Climate Comfort Glass on the sticker.

Other forums are saying no longer available, only offered via Dealer BMW Individual builds or part availability stoppage.

Hmmmmm

I haven’t taken delivery yet, but my build sheet still shows it. It better be on when I pick it up in the next couple of weeks 😂

For all intents and purposes, on the two lower-cost fully-electric G70s (i.e., the i7 eDrive50 and i7 xDrive60), YES, Climate Comfort Laminated Glass (aka Code 356) is an extra-cost hidden option which you will not see on the "Build Your Own" portion of BMW's website.* You must specifically ask your dealer to add it to your build. The dealer's build/ordering system is different and more robust than the website. Why is this? I have absolutely no idea.

You KNOW it will be included with your car and appear on the sticker when you see it shown on your Vehicle Inquiry Report ("VIR") which you will be provided by the dealer during your ordering process. The VIR is the official document that tells the factory in Munich exactly what features are to be built into your car.

If you WANT 356 and (a) gave/forwarded your build from the BMW website only, (b) forgot to ask the dealer specifically for it, or (c) the dealer forgot to add it to your order, AND (d) your vehicle has not yet gone into production (Code 150), have him/her correct it IMMEDIATELY so it DOES appear on the VIR (the vehicle can revert to Production/150 at ANY time)!

*Climate Comfort Glass (356) is already STANDARD on the i7 M70 so WILL automatically come with it, appear on your VIR, and on the sticker shown as "STD" with no cost shown.

THANK YOU. I figured Climate Comfort glass on the i7 50 and 60 was a dealer ordered option.

There's no hidden option. They changed the availability from 2023 to 2024. Whereas it was a stand alone option on the 740/760 it became n/a on 740 and standard on the 760 for 2024.

It was most certainly not standard on 2024 760, it costed $1300.

You're right I was confusing the 7 with i7. Only standard on m70 and not available on others.

But is a $1,300 option across the regular 7

It’s a priority 1 option it’s not on BYO but your dealer can add it to any build.
