What kind of gains are you promising? What kind of warranty does it come with?

Those are the numbers from Dinan. For a $2600 upgrade, the gains are hard to beat and it feels like a new car.

I can't wait until they are ready for me. Apparently the software is different for all of the BMW models with the N63 engine; F01 vs F02; F07 vs. F10, Xdrive models, etc. but I am sure you know this

The folks at Dinan said they should have the software for the F07 by the end of the month. Better be because I want that discount.

And yes I am envious

What about the V-12 Twin Turbo in the 760? That would be some serious power....

I just checked the Dinan website, and the F07 is now listed. Have you purchased your software upgrade yet?
I will be doing so on Monday, to also take advantage of the 20% discount special...

has anyone gotten this done yet? If so how are the power gains? Any noticeable difference? Dinan is notorious for inflating numbers and very little gains, as well as raping you regarding price.

Although I have an F07 trust when I say the difference is noticeable. The thing is the drivability/civility is still there, off the line, mid-range, and beyond.
The shifts points are very smooth and crisp. Goes through 8 gears as easy as 5.

I know you guys have the six speed (excluding the v12) but I am sure the sensation is just as intoxicating for you with the Dinan Stage 1 reflash.

The B7 with the Dinan ECU must be otherwordly, and at least it matches AMG latest V8 offerings. Wonder what the folks at Alpina annnnd BMW M feel about this

I think I will have mine dynoed as well, out of curiosity, not because I'm not satisifed. Personally, I can tell the difference, I am about 13k on the odo, and I broke my car in right Sofla to NC. Where did you have yours done at? anybody have an idea what the 43 rwhp translates to with driveline losses factored in?

@lifesgud2: Out of curiosity, would you mind posting the actual before and after RWHP numbers for us?
Also do you have a RWD or AWD 7 series?

Well, I drove the car pretty hard tonight and it did seem a little bit better, but still not quite worth $2500. In fact I had a feeling I wasnt going to be "thrilled" with the gains simply becasue Dinan is notorious for very small gains. I attribute this to keeping the car under factory warranty, and not being able to get more boost out of the stock turbos which is sad, because these are essentially the same turbos that are on the X6M and X5M. I went to Foreign Affairs in Pompano Beach, near wiles road and Powerline.

The car currently has 9700 miles and I broke it in perfect. Keep in mind I had an 08 M5 which had a 150 shot of NOS and a Stage 3 from ASR in Miami. My M5 went 11.56 @124 MPH in the 1/4 mile at Moroso in Palm Beach. As far as the dyno went, the car had 4400 miles and the car dynoed at 397 to the wheels. YES 397 to the wheels. I know its hard to believe but its 100 percent true. Today, I had "Dinan Software" stage 1 added at Foreign Affairs, and after went to the same dyno. Car went from 397 to 446. Dont get me wrong I am certainly not bashing Dinan, but I am sure that in the next 6 months ASR, or Active in Miami will have a much better tune, for half the price. Car def feels a bit faster, but NOT Anyone from South Florida want to meet let me know Pm ME

If you figure you loose 15% to 18% on TT cars, that would factor in to the crank around 63HP to the CranK
