first was my dealer who sent me a video of his screen with the production detail timeline on it, at the top i could see a vin number so i then went to http://bimmer.work/ punched it in and the details came up. To note, lots of the other vin decoder site did not find the car so i guess this one is more upto date. 2nd of October would be a result based on all the changes to timelines you had. they said my status was 5500 but I@d have to get VIN off the dealer so will try the site and let you know.

You must be itching to get it by now!!

I got this from the dealer today after I chased them:

your car has now been confirmed for build - the chassis I can retrieve from the system is G766138
Expected to land with us here at the dealership week commencing the 24th of October.

ITs not a VIN though.....

Its no matter I just tried it again and got the breakdown like yours although it doesn't have that 9AA option .........

I also found this again on the main site: If you ignore the travel to the US 2 weeks seems possible for your car maybe 3:

-Build start (150) to build finish (155): 1-2 weeks.
-Build finish (155) to Scheduled for Carrier (182): 1 day.
-Status 182 to 190 (on a train to bremerhaven):1-3 days.
-Status 190 to 193 (at port awaiting a ship): 1-2 days.
-Status 193 to 195 (on a ship): 3-5 days for east coast delivery, 5-12 days for west coast delivery (more detail on this later)
-Shipping time from Bremerhaven to East Coast: 12-17 days depending on the number of stops.
-Shipping time from Bremerhaven to West Coast: About 30 days.
-Offload at port: 1 day
-Processing through customs: 1-2 days
-Process through BMW Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) and onto a carrier: 2-5 days.
-Shipping time on carrier to Dealership: 1-4 days.

So if I look at this a week to get to Port now and assume you cana ship within a day another 3-5 days to Southampton about 4 days to clear the VPc centre and customs and a 1 day to the dealer then I guess they need half or a whole day to prep the car for you..

then you just need to collect it

I literally cannot wait I got a 1.5 petrol Ford Focus zetec as a hire

Status is now 9000 Departed Plant and the Genius "Ola" predicts that it will be with the dealer next week! yahoo!!!!!!

I'm a bit preplexed as my date hasn;t changed in fact on Moday they now said week 44 not week 43, I reckon you'l just make it onto a ship leaving where as JB and I mostly likely will be on the next one

Congrats mate

Your dealer Spire came through a lot better than the shite I used and I used to work in Hatfield so should have tried them!

I don't think mine is started as still the same status they are telling me online is due to prodcution next week and I have no doubt my dealer is not chasing or anything to speed things up. your will be 1-2 weeks early!

Can't wait to see your photos!

Just got an update to say at 5100 Bodyshop start...... at least its finally changed status
