Powder coated my 20" M sport wheels...

Just some pics of my new 750.. Had the wheels powder coated silver and also did some other mods.. Chrome exhaust tips...Window tint...Gloss black roof. I left the shark fin white. I liked the contrast.. and did some other things as well..

Just a few pics. What do you guys think about the wheels? And the mods so far..

Did you add the L to the name badge? The 2016s don't have the L, at least the 740, because they only sell one wheelbase here.

I don't care for the mods, personally. I think the silver took the depth out of the wheels.

Looks good overall.

How's the workmanship on the wheels? Any spots / blotchiness / runs?

Paint even? Does it look like OEM BMW paint? Looks a little brown / gray.

Who'd you use for the wheels and how much?

Looking forward to crossing paths!

Nope. Wheels are perfect.. however I might have him redo them and go a little deeper silver with a higher gloss..

Wheels look good. I think you should add spacers to get flush fitment and I would also wrap the chrome trim on the rear to be black as well. I think the chrome exhaust finishers were a good move though. Great mods so far.

It's your car. As long as you're happy! I think pure silver makes them look like the stock 19" wheels on an X5 M Sport

Thanks. I am very happy.. and maybe. I don't know. Not up to speed on the X5's.. Don't like them at all.. they are so small.. I can barley tell the difference between the new X5 and X3.. I'll take my new Escalade anyday..

LOL

The X5 is on the same chassis it's always been on. This was a good effort to tell us you got an Escalade, too, though. I didn't know people still bought those.

Yes wheels spacers. The OEM wheel fitment is conservative, so spacers will push them out towards the fenders and give you a more aggressive fitment. Here is a pic of my 5 series with 20" M Sport wheels from the F01 7 series with spacers. Notice the wheels are almost flush with the fenders.

Just know that you'll throw a lot more junk onto your fenders and bumper. Clear film is a good investment.

Hey man, don't be mad that I called out your humblebrag. It was a classic move, like the guy who drops "Porsche" into a conversation. I'll take my "tiny" X5 over a dressed up Chevy SUV any day. To each his own. It's just the internet.
