With Europe as "small" as it is, this doesn't surprise me at all. What are your laws regarding the personal ownership of firearms? Do you have an equivalent of our "stand your ground" or "castle doctrine" that allows for self defense?

Oh hell...that's reason enough to visit you. I wish I had picked up a FN-CAL before they were restricted. A few hundred(?) made it into the US. FNC's are nice too. Steyr and another importer brought those in.

Don't forget FN means Fabrique National (De Herstal) and the owner of the FN factory is the Region of Wallonia , so actually the french part of the Belgian government .
Sadly no one comes in there in the FN factory...
But yeah I'm sure my friend could help me out in case of war with those suckers .
