Yeah- I don't get where they were marching them. Off a cliff? I would've just built walls at the exits to fortify it and let them rot, or start a fire if you like (although that would involve TONS of fuel. I also don't get why the zombies didn't crawl under the trucks.

I believe it's "common belief" walkers can't swim and would essentially sink and die off.

That's what I thought they were going to do. Make a platform off the edge of the cliff, lure them there, remove the bridge to said platform, and just stand their making a lot of noise as all the zombies push each other off the cliff like lemmings. Easy peasy. You technically don't even have to have anyone in the cage as bait; just get them close and put a disco ball and stereo in there, like the trap made out of tractor trailers.

Are they really just marching them down the road to turn loose? That sounds like one of the worst plans ever. I like "Walking Dead", but most episodes have the plot driven by someone doing something incredibly stupid.

I'm guessing the Preacher blew the horn because he's a huge D-bag, but who knows; they could write anybody into doing that, and it'll be more interesting if it's someone you wouldn't expect. It's too bad the people driving them down the road didn't have horns, too. Oh...wait...

Great opening to the season, and makes you painfully aware of just how better this show is than the Fear the Walking Dead Spin-Off.

My favorite part of the show was when Morgan saw right through the "sweet little old lady" routine by Carol. I thought it was a fantastic example of how people who have lived on the outside have developed survival instincts and can see through the BS, while the people inside the community took Carol at face value. Carol has become my favorite character over the past couple seasons, she's just awesome.

I have no idea who blew the horn, but I'm assuming it won't be anybody we think it is (Wolves, etc.). In the comics the herd is drawn to the community by a firefight with the Scavengers (perhaps the Wolves now in this TV series) in DC. The horn isn't in the comics, so I'm not sure what's going on.

We've seen the group eat some wild dogs, but outside of that no carnivorous animals around. I'm not sure Walkers are that pleasant to eat, aren't they basically year+ old meat that just happens to be able to move???

They said Daryl and the others were just going to drive 20 miles then come back . . .

The horn was blown by somebody who wants to take over Alexandria after the current owners are gone. (My opinion)

Missed the opener, hopefully they replay it before episode two. Part of reason I watch is to see some of the characters die. I don't think I've ever watch a show where I hope so many people get killed before.

Try Game of Thrones they kill off the bad guys and the good guys quite efficiently and in great number.

Also, I really enjoyed the first episode of season 6. Already has me more interested than 5.

Hell, a big enough fire could be a perpetual zombie trap. The light would draw in more walkers, which acts to fuel the fire, which attracts more walkers and so on.

This is exactly what I was thinking as well.

Big GoT fan, for me Walking Dead still takes the cake though. Andrea took way too long to die, still waiting on Carl…that annoying lil #$%&. Glenn too, idk why I just hate his face, looks like a little B whenever he tries to get tough.

GoT is still my favorite, but it gets depressing. WD is just fun.

Idk if I want Glenn to die, but I did prefer his character at the start when he was the sneaky one. I'm expecting a big death this season. I've heard rumors of Daryl being the one, but I would hate to see that.

That assumes we'll find out tonight. They could easily drag it out 2-3 episodes. You know, spend the entire episode tonight trying to figure it out with a cliffhanger right before they say. Then another episode where it turns out they have the wrong person with another cliffhanger. Then, after 3 episodes, we find out who it was and why.
