Thumbs down Johhny Manziel... WITF?

At first... I thought the guy was just "acting out" in a way to get him released from the team (pretty unscrupulous) but now THIS:
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...dallas-cowboys

Quote:
The NFL needs to move on from Johnny Manziel.

As details start to emerge from his latest incident with former girlfriend Colleen Crowley, each cringeworthy accusation becomes more of an indictment of the falling star and a warning for NFL teams considering him as an option once the Cleveland Browns release the mercurial signal-caller, which is likely to happen in March, according to ESPN.com's Pat McManamon.

According to a report from Rebecca Lopez of WFAA 8, Crowley (his ex-girlfriend) allegedly claimed Manziel hit her in the ear, dragged her by her hair and claimed he would kill her and himself. The quarterback's ex-girlfriend even thought Manziel might be under the influence of drugs.

First and foremost, Manziel will not be charged by the Dallas Police Department, but the Fort Worth Police Department is still looking into the situation, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Now before anyone trows out a "what about Greg Hardy?" He was also wrong for his actions. But Johnny Boy here seems to be on a very early path of destruction with only 2 seasons under his belt.

Even his father has come forward saying if he doesn't get help he won't live to see his 24th birthday. Football should be the last thing on this kids head and even though I am not a Cowboy fan, they shouldn't even think about bringing in this guy. RG phony 3 would be a better option to back-up/should I dare say compete with Romo?

He was raised a spoiled rich kid, not surprising he acts like a complete tool and has zero appreciation for how lucky he is to be talented and in the position he's in as pro athlete

Sadly, I predicted this would have happened to him once he was drafted. Once, he got all that money, it was only going to make it worse. He was a problem in college. All the talent in the world doesn't guarantee you success in the National Felonies League. Ryan Leaf comes to mind. Unless he does get help, he will be out of football. I hope for his sake he gets good advice and cleans up his act.

It was pretty evident he had problems in college so I'm certainly not surprised. That said, there is no question this is just incredibly sad, for his sake. His father worried he won't live to his 24th birthday.

If someone you care about one day falls victim to addiction, check back with us and tell us how pathetic and worthless they are.

As someone who lives in Cleveland and works at a sports bar, I had to endure the idiotic narrative from Clowns' fan of JFF saving the Cleveland Clowns franchise for the past 2 fucking years.

I cannot contain my Schadenfreude with Clowns' Fan. I think i have lost a few friends for my Anti Browns' Fan stance.

Even now, with all the reports, some still think he can save the franchise.

i will. why should anyone care about a pro athlete who is essentially on top of the world but cannot control his "addiction" with partying and hitting women every weekend?

give me a break.

my advice is, next time find something good to be addicted to.

Yeah sorry I don't care who you are, if you beat a woman I don't give two fucks what your excuses or problems are. It's inexcusable, be it family, friend, or anything else.

Let me clarify.
I'm referring to his chemical addictions, if in fact he is. In no way was I justifying hitting a woman. His hitting this girl all the time doesn't add up some how or does it?
I read the police report and it reeks of payday.

Time will tell being it's under investigation.

Johnny said he'll quit the alcohol....AFTER his July 1 vacation in Cabo.

Doesn't sound like someone who's addressing his issues does it? Any chance he'll won't live past this weekend?
