As a Yankee fan I'm doing the unthinkable and putting all my eggs in the Mets basket. I cannot see this team losing against the Cubs nor the Royals/Jays as their pitching staff is so deGrominant. Tonight the Cubs have to beat deGrom for this series to be interesting. Royals/Jays I have no interest in either team

Murphy is on a different stratosphere with 6 straight postseason HR games. Not a bad way to enter FA.

Some GM out there right now is super desperate and willing to overpay/over term for a guy who is on the wrong side of 30 but hit his career best 14 home runs in this regular season.

Murphy is this year's Panda. Great October followed by insane contract followed by mediocrity and buyers remorse and fan discontent. I think the Royals will finish off the Jays and then beat the mets in 7. But not willing to back that up with money or taunting.

Jays are hungry and finally putting some hits together. I'm ok with 2 games in KC...only concern is Price and his post-season record...never thought I'd say that.

Should be a great series, however, Mets bullpen is shaky which is a huge concern. Tyler Clippard could cause the Mets a title here so either they avoid him in big spots or have a huge lead going into the late innings.

Ohh man he is so inconsistent. He just looks so sad when he's doing poorly though, I can't be mad. He puts so much stress onto himself.

Imho I would have deGrom pitch game 1, Thor 2 then Bruce Wayne game 3. Call me crazy but deGrom could pitch 1, 4 and 7.

Yeah, but Harvey works best when he is on a few days rest. Honestly I'd be worried about game 1. I hope that terty has Harvey throwing between the nlcs and Tuesday.
