Well, it certainly sounds amazing. Wonder if any of that acoustic orgasm is synthetic..

Rumor is that at the MMR for the RCF we will see a manual offering, and a new IS-F too. Hopefully it will be a proper manual and not an automated manual.

This isn't the RCF but everyone remembers the LF-LC concept. Apparently it's going to be the most powerful production Lexus ever built. They'll have 3 versions, a base version with the RCF engine, a hybrid version that adds some power, and then a 600 HP+ twin turbo version. It'll be a while until it's out though, but it's interesting news nonetheless.

Quote:
We already knew the car would be called the SC, that it would have a version of the RC F's eight pot mill under the hood, and that there would be a hybrid version, because hybrids. But according to Jonny Lieberman's sources, the top of the line RC-FS model will be a twin-turbo, 600hp monster, making it the most powerful production Lexus ever built. Hell. And. Yes.

With 450 ponies on tap, it's not like the base model will be any slouch either, and the hybrid model--dubbed the SC H--will sport a 500hp engine which will be borrowed from partner BMW. Lieberman also reveals that the 2017 LS will be available with the twin-turbo from its two-door sibling, and following Lexus nomenclature, will be known as the LS F. It's a good time to be a Lexus fan.

The LFLC is the only car where the spindle grill actually works. The rest of the car is sleek, aggressive, and futuristic enough for the spindle grill to be appropriate.

It's a great car and I'm on board. Good for Lexus to still keep a NA V8, when all the other so called "sports car" brands have sold out to the greenies.

I'm not sure I'd go that far. BMW didn't use a V8 in their M3 until the S65, then switched back to inline-6 architecture with the F80M3. I'm not saying I like the S55 better than the S65, very much the opposite. However, the Lexus F cars have always been high displacement (V8 ISF, V10 LFA), so it's nice to see them sticking with it.

If nothing else, as long as the RCF forces BMW to stay on its heels and step up its game in further improving the M line, then I'll be happy. I want as much competition in this segment as possible.

The only thing I don't like about the styling is how the C pillar gets progressively thick where the rear quarter window cuts off. Looks overly chunky compared to how thin the A pillar is.

I think the car looks great, but that angle does not capture its face well at all.

Way better looking here. There's a lot of visual heft to this car in lighter shades... probably looks better in person.

The wheel gap is a little excessive but that's easily fixed.

Car looks sexy. I'd take it over the new m3/4. And that Lexus IRECVXS1573RX looks so alien. Like the seats would engulf you in a membrane while you drive telepathically.

This is the first Lexus to peak my interest since my 98' GS400.
It looks great and has the goods. All it needs its some new shoes! But what car doesn't?

Black with a deep saddle interior will work well.
