Only his 100ft yacht docked in the Keys would be my best assumption.

I've only been on one cruise, in 2007, and it was a 10 day disaster. My wife got sick with the noro-virus on the third cruise day in which one of the ship's engine failed, killing all refrigeration, including A/C for about 24 hours. Thank God for our tiny balconies, because the interior room people had no air circulation. The fifth day, I got sick, and they literally keep you trapped in your room, eating only shitty room service food, and of course puking/etc. for a minimum of 72 hours. My wife has Crohns disease, so she took longer to get over it, and was actually still sick, when they released us... at the ship's final destination; their little uninhabited cay where we got to snorkel for 15 minutes before they recalled everybody to the ship, for departure. Then we got bumped from our group of 6, in LA, on our return across country. Friggin' Princess.

Celebrity solstice was probably the nicest designed ship I been on.

I fail to see how they are utterly shit. Care to elaborate?
Regent and Crystal you mentioned I've been on, twice along with Seaborne and Silversea.

Princess and Royal Caribbean are jokes.

turned out pretty good. split the room with a dude and it cost me $125, and i ate more than that in food on the boat. my booze bill was about $175, and thats only because i ran out of what i smuggled aboard towards the end of the cruise. we went to catalina and ensanada. ensanada was mediocre at best, but catalina was fun. keep in mind there are also girls on the boat in full party mode.

My booze bill on Disney was 10x that and Disney allows you to carry on as much as you want. No smuggling. However, that was both my wife and I. Or maybe that says a bit to much about our consumption...

To the OP, Verandah is the only way to go. It will be great and absolutely the entire Disney experience. Disney knows how to translate the experience.

Disney is on a different planet than a Carnival cruise. Carnival is utter dog shit and you couldn't pay me to go on one.

Everyone has a price. Let's start the bidding at $1.

You can be the first person to get paid to go on the "utter dog shit" Carnival cruise.
