Celebrating Our 16yr Anniversary...
... With my soulmate.
 I know some of you are married and have a family like me. It is a blessing and something I truly cherish deeply. She keeps me grounded, driven, happy, and in shape! I refuse to be that married middle-aged out of shape Dad.  We enjoyed a lovely dinner, cocktails and a little dancing.

If you're so happy, why do you always look so fucking miserable?!

Man I have seen and heard so many stories about being single and heck, I was once there! But as you age (now I'm 46) I truly believe that a partner/soulmate is soooo special but also literally life changing and defining. Looking back, I honestly don't know what I would have done these last 17yrs without her. I mean I'd probably be married but maybe I'd be divorced once or twice? A person who decides to spend the rest of their lives with you can't be taken for granted. It is NOT an easy thing either. But it should NEVER be more difficult than it is fun/loving. So congrats to all of you married folks out there as well! I wish you and yours continued success, joy and happiness. I also hope you singles will find true love too. I share this not to brag whatsoever, but to share something special and encouraging to those among you who do appreciate long term relationships and the great joy and fulfillment it brings. And seeing most of your responses demonstrates people indeed do. Life is full of plenty of negative and dismay. I choose to not only be positive but share a positive word or act when I can.
