Tesla are for people that enjoy wearing nothing but a digital smart watch.

The Germans are for those that enjoy the precision craftsmanship and mechanical marvel of a tourbillion time piece.

Usually one group could care less about what the other offers. Whatever floats your boat.

I wear both and drive both.

So you are incorrect.

I think that his analogy is a very good one. I have both too, however you can not compare a digital watch with a masterpiece like Ulysse-Nardin craftsmanship.
Both show the time but boy, only one is truly alive and makes you wonder every time...

The whole video itself (drag racing), is a kindergarten thing anyway.
A book brings an experience, if the end is what matters, reading the last page will do.

Not everybody wants to get there first, because if I want that, I take the plane.
Still, they are behind few milliseconds? That is IMPRESSIVE for a complicated ICE vehicle!

The experience, the thrill is what matters and makes you feel alive. The growl, the noise, the push limit, the adrenaline, the smile on the face.
If these things don't matter, I will get the train and read a book.

Cooked in the microwave or cooked in the oven? Which one do you prefer? The first one is faster....

Colorful feelings and attributes versus boring colorless void?

A Tesla rise my adrenaline at the same level I get when I open my fridge. Still an appliance, no matter what.

6 Speed is like having an Americano.

It is the real shit in the highest form.
Americano is diluted with water though?

The whole content from the beginning is just fault , how can you compare a station wagon along with the top highest end luxury sports sedan at first ?
This is just stupid
Besides ,it's worse even more nonsense to compare apple with orange ? Literally, adaptation of this test to this famous fruity idiom would be like comparing apples to broccolis
I don't wanna deep dive into the all technical details that helps Tesla get stirred up the market in its own segment but I must say electric vehicles can't replace internal combustion engines unless inductive charged roads are built and replaces our "quaint" roads
You may drive your computer monitor screen car and sport around the town but I would rather stick to my gasoline powered V12 to enjoy some quality engine sound not mosquito infested electric saw whizzing engine

I wear both and drive both.

So you are incorrect.
Yeah usually, I guess I’m the exception

Besides the Ms and P100D, I also have Pateks and every generation of Apple Watch.

They all float my boat.

You can't compare one to the other, they are both FOR completely different things. For city driving it makes sense to get the Tesla, I believe the Model S range is something like 310 miles. For playing and enjoying a piece of art you go for the German! Totally different. Tesla and other EVs will eventually have the tech to up the range to make the EVs more attractive and more competitive to our beloved pieces of art unfortunately. Looks like more people will make the switch for 500 miles https://www.autolist.com/tesla#section=news&s=a
