730d 2006 transmission problem

pls help someone
i started the car last night and a limited transmisson error came up the car wont go over 50 and i think wont change over 3 gear

Try this out

Insert the Key to into the key fob (DON’T HOLD THE BRAKE).
Press the Start Button ONCE, just so the car electronics start and show the Engine light is on. (Again, Don’t START the Engine).
Press and HOLD the GAS PEDAL all the way to the force down click on the gas pedal for 25 seconds.
After those 25 Seconds, proceed to Starting the Engine and drive your car.

Friend of mine had the same problume,it's restarts the algoritme of your transmission it wil shift and kickdown faster,hope it works for you good luck.

Maybe your turbo or a leak in your exhaust pipe in front of your engine going to the back dont know the exact name of the part don't know how you say it in English it is (spruitstuk in dutch)go to the dealer let them check it out.

thanks for the replies but i dont think anything has changed i took it to a local garage nat a main dealer they said transmision is fine but the particle filter is blocked
so any help would ber appreciated

Is your AC on or off during the drive,also let your battery checked out.
