Backed Out On A 991.2 Turbo

After debating on multiple super/exotic cars I ordered a 991.2 Turbo but i backed out on the order 5 days after i ordered which is going to change my relationship with my P dealer, but now im debating again if i want to get another super/exotic car or buy a fully loaded individual exterior/interior M3/4 With a another car (C63S Coupe/ Cayman GT4) Give me your ideas.

Curious... why did you back out?

I wouldn't buy an M3/4 with another car like a C63. Too similar and neither will excite you like a real supercar. I'd get a 911 GT3 and call it a day... a better car than the Turbo IMO.

depends on what it's used for. the Turbo/Turbo S is a more comfy tourer. And straightline speed is faster than the GT3. also alittle better in road conditions less than dry due to AWD.

the GT3 would be my pick for a DD-able (albeit firm riding) track (road circuit) weapon.

Completely agree. I was showing my bias for a more raw, fun, track oriented car. Straight line speed has mattered little in my car choices but everyone has different priorities.

The 911 turbo is fast, has good looks, and everything is perfect.
but the bad thing is: exhaust sound. Its a soulless car.

How did you come to that conclusion?
I have never understood that assessment.
I wouldn't buy a 911 Turbo because it's too expensive and depreciates too fast.

I know sound is a big deal to many people but it just doesn't mean that much to me.
That said, buy a GT3. It's fast and sounds great.
If the Turbo held its value better I would definitely buy one. The performance far outweighs the lack of noise imo.

Have you sat in or been in a GT3?

There is no way you can DD that thing. It rattles your brains loose on anything that is less then perfect roads. If your commute is more then 20-30 minutes, goodluck. And it scrapes on EVERYTHING.

It definitely is the more enjoyable car though. A visceral, in your face driving experience.

To each their own. I don't find the GT3 unusable in a daily driver setting. Some drivers (read younger) are more tolerant to the abuse. To me, it's more of an issue getting in/out of the car without tearing up those seats over time. And as silly as it sounds, I also prefer the Porsche interior smell over any other exotic.

A 991 GT3 is pretty civilized to drive(especially with the front axle lift option).

How about a first gen V10 R8 6MT? Pretty affordable now (relatively speaking), save money and depreciation off a new car and spend the rest modding it to your hearts content.

Slap an Eaton unit on there!
