Congrats on that beautiful 7.

One question: Did you get the lane steering assist feature? Just last week I drove a friend's Tesla P90D with autopilot and found it quite amazing. Very interested in how this feature of the new 7 compares to that.

I haven't got a chance to drive it much, but it does have steering assist.

Without reading anything about it, I turned it on to see what it does. Sometimes it worked well and others I had no clue what it was doing. This is most likely due to me not knowing exactly what i was supposed to do. It only lasts about 15 seconds, but you can just tap your hand on the steering wheel and it reactivates.

Are those lights always on or can you switch them on/off? To me that's lighting overkill and kind of ruins the look of the interior.

I turned them on to full brightness just for the pics. You can also set them to dim when in drive.

I thought this was going to be a jk article and we would have opened up to new S550 Benz pics! Lol. Nice 7 either way.

I have never once liked brown interior, until now. Just wow. With the blue accent lighting.... Yeah, fucking outstanding color combo.

The interior lights remind of the back of a stretch limo outfitted for a bachelor party or high school prom. Far from elegant which is what I'd look for in a 7 series. Once turned off the rest of the interior looks great.

Theyre ambient lights. Imagine having a "candle" inside your car. Thats how the product trainer explained it to me at my local dealer's launch party for the G12
